The Madinat al-Zahra project is the flagship project of Minhaj ul Quran International. The aim and vision of Shaykh ul Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri is to develop centres of excellence which will help fulfil the needs of current and future times.

After establishing these on smaller scales through Masjids across the UK and across the world, Dr Tahir Ul Qadri envisioned a centre where all these values could be taught on a much bigger scale. A place where Muslims can facilitate their religion, but also a place where society can facilitate its needs. A place of sanctuary where people from every walk of life can come and enhance their educational, welfare, spiritual, and human rights experience.

The complex will include:

• Large Masjid with an educational complex
• Community centre, multipurpose hall for sports and weddings, auditorium
• Retail units with a Minhaj Cafe
• Full time school with boarding facilities
