Jamia Almaarif was established in 2018 in East London, aiming to educate and support communities by enlightening them with the Islamic religion. They offer online courses, prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals, and the producing and distributing of Islamic literature and media publications via online platforms.

A range of Islamic and social activities are offered for men, women and children new to Islam. The community members benefit from equal opportunities in Islamic education, social support, and community integration.

A priority of Jamia Almaarif is to engage the youth by using a family approach in learning and social activities which promotes a family orientated atmosphere and lifestyle which consequently contributes to the youth making better choices in life.
