York Mosque & Islamic Centre

York Mosque & Islamic Centre was established in 1982 for the benefit of the Muslim community in York.

York New Muslim Care provides the opportunity to learn more about Islam and a safe space to ask any questions. It provides support to converts to become connected with their faith and the York Mosque community. This is through informal drop-in sessions, halaqah, prayer workshops and social events as well as support in taking Shahada, community iftar and Eid celebrations.
