Our vision is to establish a vibrant centre offering a holistic range of religious, spiritual, educative, social and charitable services for the Muslim and wider community of Ashford and Staines, drawing on our Islamic values and heritage to deliver our work with excellence.
The Ashford and Staines area has a population of 50,000 and is home to approximately 700 muslims. ASCC serves as the first full time prayer provision in the area.
Our aims are to:
– Focus on serving the needs of the diverse local Muslim community.
– Provide Muslims and non-Muslims with the opportunity to learn and understand Islam, through dialogue, discussion and social interaction.
– Contribute to the social, cultural, spiritual and economic enhancement of the whole community
