Jamia Al Maarif was Established in 2018 in East London, we aim to educate and support communities by enlightening them with the Islamic religion. We offer online courses, prayer meetings, lectures, public celebration of religious festivals, and the producing and distributing of Islamic literature and media publications via our online platforms.

We provide a range of Islamic and Social activities for men, women & children. Our community members benefit from equal opportunities in Islamic education, social support, and community integration.

Our priority is to engage the youth by using a family approach in learning and social activities which promotes a family orientated atmosphere and lifestyle which consequently contributes to the youth making better choices in life. Jamia Al Maarif have successful support programmes for new Muslims, born Muslims and youth alike which offer educational and motivational support as well as a virtual online community.

We offered a rapid response to the COVID-19 pandemic which enabled us to continue our services for the benefitting communities throughout the pandemic. All Jamia Al Maarif services were taken online, enabling our community to grow not only nationally but also internationally.

We have a spiritual ethos which focuses on inner peace and contentment. These spiritual teachings are benefitting many and have proven to have brought changes in behaviour and mindsets according to the true essence of Islam which is peace and submission.
