A holistic approach to revert support, addressing spiritual, educational, and social needs. Islamwise aims to fill the space between people taking their Shahadah and becoming practising Muslims. We help every step of the way providing services, activities and advice.

Islamwise focusses on Conveying Islam, Supporting New Muslims and Empowering Others. Conveying Islam Alhamdulillah, we are able to facilitate the Shahadahas of over 100 people onsite every year and 100s more via our partners and associates. Supporting New Muslims We offer support for new Muslims through tailored one-to-one mentoring, covering the basics of Islam, how to pray, and how to read the Quran Alhamdullilah, our partnership with the Online Quran Institute has allowed us to offer free online classes for reverts/new Muslims.

With 231 hours of Quran taught as of August of this year, it has been a great success. Our commitment to supporting New Muslims has led us to have 100 social gatherings this year. Allowing New Muslims to feel a part of the community, and making sure they don’t feel alone.

This year we have been able to hold Eid gatherings at both the Edgbaston Cricket Ground and Green Lane Masjid. With over 750 people in attendance. Since 2022 we have organised an annual Umrah trip, tailored towards the needs of new Muslims. With support every step of the way and sponsorship options for those who need it.

Alongside this we support in anyway we can, signposting our service users to support out there in the community from help with mental health issues to housing, we aim to assist however we can. Our social gatherings give converts a space to belong, book clubs, social trips and much more leaving a lasting impact on the lives of our attendees.

Regular community engagement include the weekly Community Kitchen, serving over 300 people and fostering a feeling of connection within our community. Empowering Others We consult with other organisations every year to empower others to replicate the work we do here. Sharing knowledge, experience and resources we aim to create hubs for new Muslim support across the UK and beyond. Our commitment to conveying Islam has led us to distribute over 100,000 pieces of dawah material every year and since 2018 over half a million English translations of the Quran. We support tens of dawah tables as well as hospital chaplains, mosques, prisons and universities across the world.
