Goodwood Islamic Academy, operating at Masjid Muadh Ibn Jabal, is a beacon of transformative Islamic education, dedicated to nurturing future ambassadors of Islam who embody the values of integrity, kindness, and social responsibility. Since our establishment, we have achieved exceptional milestones in delivering quality Islamic education to children aged 5 to 19, as well as to adult learners.
Tailored, High-Quality Education
At Goodwood Islamic Academy, we intentionally keep our class sizes small to ensure personalised, one-on-one attention for each student. Our curriculum not only covers the comprehensive An Nasihah syllabus but also emphasises practical lessons on living as a model Muslim, inspired by the teachings and example of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Our objective is to instil in our students the qualities of a model citizen, fostering strong morals, excellent manners, and respectful behaviour.
Empowering the Youth and Lifelong Learners
In recognition of the unique needs of our students as they grow, we offer specialised programs that go beyond the traditional Madrassah curriculum. We deliver extra-curricular sports activities for students up to the age of 15. Whilst for boys and girls teens aged 15 and above, we provide a specialised classes, creating a safe and focused environment where they can deepen their understanding of Islam and discuss relevant and sensitive topics they face throughout society. For adult learners, we offer classes in Tajweed, Hadith, and other foundational Islamic subjects, as well as conversational Arabic classes to enhance their connection to the language of the Quran.
Cultivating a Spirit of Charity and Community Service
Our commitment to Islamic values extends beyond the classroom. We actively involve our students in charitable initiatives, encouraging them to give back to those in need. To date, our students have raised several thousand pounds for various causes, instilling in them a profound sense of empathy and responsibility toward others. These efforts not only reinforce the importance of charity in Islam but also develop leadership qualities in our students, preparing them to become compassionate and active members of society.
